Children (under 18s) are not eligible to use our services and should not submit any personal information to does not actively track you as an individual.

Should you send us an email via the contact form, your name, email address and message will be emailed to us (as you would expect). This information is kept private. We will store this information within our own email system so that we are able to respond to you.

Should you comment on a blog post or web page on this site, then your name, email address, IP address and message will be stored in our website database (as you would expect). If you have chosen to share it with us, we use your email address to contact you in reply to your message, or to send you other email updates. If you have entered your email address to leave a comment on the blog, it is used to identify your comment, however it is not displayed on the website or shared with any third party.

We may also use your email to help resolve issues or disputes, for example if you tell us that you cannot see any of your posts on the website, we would probably search our database using your email address to help diagnose the problem.

Online Purchases

When you purchase gift voucher(s) through the Advance Helicopters website your name, address, email and contact number will be stored in our purchasing system, Woo-commerce. You may, of course, purchase a gift voucher in person without supplying the aforementioned personal data.  Please be assured that we do not share your personal details with any other company without your consent.

Self-fly Hirers

If you are a student training with us towards a pilots licence or you self-fly hire aircraft from us then we will have certain details as paper copies – usually these are name, address, DOB, address, phone number and email address. These are kept securely in a locked filing cabinet in our office. Many of your details will also be stored in our accounts system, Xero.


As part of the registration process for our e-newsletter, we collect personal information.  We use that information for a few reasons:  to tell you about stuff you’ve asked us to tell you about (such as the newsletter); to contact you if we need to obtain or provide additional information; to check our records are right and to check every now and then that you’re happy and satisfied. We don’t rent or trade email lists with other organisations and businesses.
