Packaging & Delivery
Packaging and delivery to mainland addresses within the United Kingdom are free of charge. All items will normally be dispatched within 24 hours of receipt of order. In some cases it may take longer, but we aim to dispatch all items within 48 hours in all but the most exceptional cases. Standard delivery is by Royal Mail first class post.
We can send Gift Vouchers by standard post to an address outside of the UK and Channel Islands for £3.00. Please allow extra time for delivery.
Experience Voucher Conditions
Advance Helicopters experience vouchers can be redeemed against our range of Helicopter Experiences.
All Advance Helicopters experience vouchers have a unique reference number which must be quoted when dealing with Advance Helicopters. Vouchers and any corresponding receipts must be kept safe and secure. Advance Helicopters will take no responsibility for any loss you may incur as a result of voucher or receipt theft and impersonation or identity fraud. We reserve the right to cancel vouchers that we deem to have been obtained fraudulently.
Experience vouchers are valid for at least 6 months from date of purchase. The exact issue date will be printed on the voucher. You must make your booking and participate in the experience before this expiry date or the voucher will no longer be valid. Credit can be used until the expiry of the voucher and is non-refundable.
Experience vouchers are totally flexible and can be used to book other experience available. There will be no charge for exchanging, however if your chosen experience is higher in price than the value of your original voucher, you will need to pay the price difference. When redeeming, if your chosen experience is lower in price, the difference will be held as credit to use against any future purchase. Credit can be used until the original expiry date of the voucher and is non-refundable.
To book your voucher, you must contact Advance Helicopters. The contact details are contained on this website and included with the experience voucher. Once your booking date is confirmed, you will be required to bring the experience voucher with you on the day.
Refunds can be made on unused vouchers bought from Advance Helicopters within 14 days of purchase. Where dates have already been confirmed as booked with us, refunds within 14 days are subject to our cancellation policy (see below).
Refunds are always made to the person who purchased the voucher, and if originally purchased by credit or debit card, the refund will be credited to the same card, or in some cases by cheque.
Receipts must be retained as proof of purchase.
Once you have confirmed your booking date with us you are bound by our terms and conditions regarding cancellations or changes. It is not possible to change the booking unless we agree to the change.
Sometimes Advance Helicopters may need to cancel the experience at short notice for reasons beyond our control, such as adverse weather conditions, illness or mechanical breakdowns. Therefore, we strongly recommend that you contact us on the day before you depart for your experience to check. We regret that in the event of cancellation, Advance Helicopters is unable to reimburse travel, accommodation or any other expenses you may incur in relation to the cancelled experience.
Certain experiences are subject to minimum or maximum requirements; e.g. age, health, height or weight. Full details are included with all product information and we will notify you of any such restrictions when you submit your booking request. Once a booking is confirmed, it may not be possible to cancel if these requirements cannot be met, so please check carefully.
The information provided by Advance Helicopters about each helicopter experience is correct at the time of print. However, their content or format may change slightly during the year. Current details are available on our website.
The images used to illustrate experiences are used as an indication only. The exact aircraft do vary.
Exact flight times of experiences are approximate. They can vary due to various factors such as weather, airfield conditions, air-traffic control delays, etc. which are all beyond the control of Advance Helicopters. We will always do our best to ensure that the experience flight time is that stated on the voucher, but any variation to this time cannot be refunded against the value of the voucher.
All our experiences are offered subject to availability. The most recent information on availability will be available by contacting Advance Helicopters. Please book as early as possible, preferably at least 7 days in advance or further for peak dates such as weekends or holiday periods. We strongly suggest you do not make arrangements in connection with the booking until it has been confirmed with the us.
Where the experience is not available due to mechanical breakdown or illness, the venue reserves the right to make reasonable substitutions on the day. If this is not possible the venue reserves the right to cancel the experience at short notice.
Promotional Codes and Discounts
Only one valid Advance Helicopters promotional offer or discount code can be applied per order and can only be used if a discount has not already been applied. Promotional offers or discount codes must not be used with existing vouchers or credit balances. They may be subject to specific terms, conditions or validity periods and may be withdrawn without notice at any time. We reserve the right to restrict their use in conjunction with vouchers. We reserve the right to void vouchers or credit balances acquired through violation of this condition.
We welcome the participation of disabled people in our experiences though we recognise that our experiences may present difficulties for those with disabilities. We are committed to ensuring that disabled customers are given every opportunity to participate, so we ask that you tell us about any relevant disability at the time of ordering. This enables us to do our best to meet the participant’s particular needs. We will be happy to provide information about the disabled facilities available at our venue on request.
We welcome your feedback on all of our products. If you have a problem or complaint on the day, please bring it to the attention of one of us at the venue as soon as possible, so that they have a chance to put matters right. If your problem is not resolved on the day, please contact us, including your voucher reference and participant details, and we will be happy to take the matter up. In general, we consider it unreasonable if you take no action during an event, but then make a complaint at a later date.
Other Terms and Conditions
All prices quoted in our promotional literature and on our website include VAT where applicable and are correct at the time of publication. We reserve the right to increase the price of any product without notice.
Advance Helicopters liability for any claim of breach of obligation regarding any single voucher shall not exceed the price of that voucher or gift. This excludes claims arising from personal injury or death due to the negligence of Advance Helicopters. Funds on our vouchers are not covered by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme. In the unlikely event of the issuer becoming insolvent, some funds on our vouchers may not be available to spend.
The text, illustrations and images used in all Advance Helicopters promotional literature are protected by copyright and must not be copied in whole or in part without the express permission of Advance Helicopters Ltd.
All the above terms and conditions apply as a condition of using any voucher, whether or not the voucher holder is the original purchaser. Advance Helicopters reserves the right to change these terms from time to time without reference to customers. These terms and conditions do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer, and are governed by and in accordance with English law. The purchaser and Advance Helicopters agree that any problems fall under the jurisdiction of the English courts.
Advance Helicopters is a trade marks of Advance Helicopters Ltd. We are a well-known brand within the UK and have unregistered rights in our trade marks (listed above) and our logos. No-one may use our trade marks without our express written permission. Neither the purchaser nor the recipient is entitled to use any Advance Helicopter trade marks or logos.
Advance Helicopers complies with each of the eight principles of the Data Protection Act 1998. Those principles require that data is:
• fairly and lawfully processed
• processed for limited purposes
• adequate, relevant and not excessive
• not kept longer than necessary
• processed in accordance with the data subject’s rights
• not transferred outside the EU without adequate protection
